1. Display brightness (may vary depending on your system) - Ambient Light Sensor: QuickSet provides an interface to customize Ambient Light Sensor settings for your computer. - Intel(R) Display Power Savings Technology: To save power on battery mode by adjusting display settings.
2. Radio/Wireless activity control
You can control the on-board wireless devices using the wireless switch (OR) the Fn+F2 hotkey depending on your system support. You can use QuickSet to configure the radios that the switch/hotkey would control.
3. Location Profiler: Allows users to create profiles comprising of location dependent system settings. QuickSet associates Wired/WLAN/WWAN (on supported systems) connections with location profiles created and allows users to automatically/manually switch between these profiles. You can priority between Wired/WLAN/WWAN (on supported systems) connections. Depending on user configuration, lower priority connections would be turned off to save power and optimize system performance.
4. Internal network card activity (depending on your system): The Internal Network Card will be deactivated when user goes to battery mode and the network cable is unplugged. Inorder to activate it, reinsert AC power source.
5. Wi-Fi Catcher(TM) Network Locator Configuration: QuickSet provides the interface to configure Wi-Fi bands or specific networks that the Wi-Fi Catcher should scan for.

1. Klicken Sie auf "Jetzt herunterladen", um die Datei herunterzuladen.
2. Klicken Sie im Fenster "Datei herunterladen" auf "Datei auf Datenträger speichern" (Nutzer von Windows XP klicken auf "Speichern"), und klicken Sie anschließend auf "OK". Das Fenster "Speichern unter" wird angezeigt.
3. Klicken Sie im Feld "Speichern unter" auf den Nach-unten-Pfeil, und wählen Sie "Desktop" aus. Klicken Sie anschließend auf "Speichern". Die Datei wird auf Ihren Desktop heruntergeladen.
4. Wenn das Dialogfeld "Download abgeschlossen" angezeigt wird, klicken Sie auf "Schließen". Das Dateisymbol wird auf Ihrem Desktop angezeigt.
Installation
1. Doppelklicken Sie auf dem Desktop auf das neue Symbol. Der Dateiname kann z. B. R12345.EXE lauten.
2. Das Fenster für die Selbstextrahierung wird angezeigt, und Sie werden aufgefordert, die Datei nach C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R12345.EXE zu extrahieren bzw. zu entpacken. (Example path). Notieren Sie den Pfad, damit die ausführbare (Beispiel: Setup.exe) Datei später problemlos gefunden werden kann.
3. Das Fenster "Self-Extractor" (Selbstextrahierung) wird angezeigt.
4. Klicken Sie auf "OK".
5. Falls das Fenster "Selbstextrahierung" nach Abschluss der Dateiextrahierung noch geöffnet ist, schließen Sie es.
6. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche "Start" und anschließend auf "Ausführen".
7. Geben Sie C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R12345 im Textfeld "Öffnen" ein, und klicken Sie anschließend auf "OK"
8. Folgen Sie den Installationsanweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.
