Extract 1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and extract the file using the following commands: "tar -zxvf dell-pediags-linux-2.7.0.193-A01.tar.gz". 2. The extracted files contain Red Hat Package Manager (RPM)packages for pediags, srvadmin-hapi, install and uninstall scripts. Install the RPM packages using install.sh.
Run 1. All of the files needed to run the application are installed to the default install directory, "/opt/dell/pediags". In the "pediags" directory, run "startDiags.sh" to launch the application. 2. To run the application in CLI mode on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, run pediags from /opt/dell/pediags/oldiags/bin, which should be the current working directory.
