Removing the Shield

1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.
   
   
2. Remove the computer cover (see Removing the Computer Cover).
   
   
3. To remove the shield loosen the eight captive screws that secure the shield to the computer.

Replacing the Shield

1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.
   
   

NOTE: Before replacing the shield, ensure that all the cables are connected and that no tools or extra parts (including screws) are left inside the computer.

2. Position the shield over the computer and tighten the eight captive screws.
   
   
3. Replace the computer cover (see Replacing the Computer Cover).
