Important information about fake technical support calls:

Be aware that unauthorised callers may use Dell company name & those of our business partners to persuade you to make a payment.
Dell has recently received information regarding customers who might be receiving unsolicited technical support calls from individuals using a variety of names. They may claim to be from Dell or acting as Dell agents. They offer to help solve mystery computer issues & may try to get you to provide them with remote access to your computer. Once they gain access they may use malicious software that corrupts your machine &/or encourage you to pay for resolution of problems. If you are unsure of the authenticity of any call you receive from someone claiming that your computer is broken or infected with a virus, hang up. If you do have a problem with your computer call or e-mail Technical Support using the links displayed on the support page.
