Do I have to use the Dell Driver Download Manager to download files?

No, you can still choose to download files via your browser without using the Dell Driver Download Manager as long as you are downloading them one at a time. When you first begin to download a file you will be presented with a pop up screen offering the options to use the Driver Download Manager or Internet browser. If you choose Internet Browser you can download files as you normally would.

However, if you have built a list of drivers to be downloaded-by selecting multiple drivers and adding to your list, you WILL be required to use the Dell Driver Download Manager to download the list of files. You can always choose to switch back to using your browser for downloads by following the instructions in this FAQ.
